"Larry, I am currently doing my exit meetings with all of our head coaches and the data we are getting from the survey is gold! Most of the time the conversation is "keep doing what you are doing," but when there are areas that need to be addressed, I have concrete data to show the coaches."
Lucas Weber, Athletic Director

“As an Athletic Director, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of LifeTrack surveys. Through collected data, we have made informed improvements that elevated our athletic programs and enhanced the student-athlete experience. Athletic Surveys by LifeTrack Services has exceptional customer service and they tailor surveys to meet your unique needs. We greatly appreciate having them as an educational partner.”
Rob Seymour, Athletic Director
Fishers High School, IN
“We started using Athletic Surveys last year to try and find ways to improve our overall Athletic Department. What I've found is that students are often times more willing to give honest feedback because of the anonymity of the surveys. We've found things that we didn't know we needed to improve, as one coach put it, "I didn't know that they perceived things that way." Athletic Surveys have allowed us to find those results and taken action to improve. They've also given us the information to use when a parent does complain to say, "here's what the kids are saying and overall things are going really well." To have that information readily available is a nice tool to have. Overall, Athletic Surveys have given us genuine, valid feedback that we have been able to use to improve, which is what we set out to do!”
Troy Ferguson, Athletic Director
National Trail High School, OH
“I wouldn't lead an athletic department without Athletic Surveys by LifeTrack! A positive student experience is our most important focus. For 14 years your surveys have helped us get student feedback on the quality of experience they are having in our programs."
John Cazier, Athletic Director
Chiawana High School, WA
“We have used Athletic Surveys by LifeTrack for several years and I have found the information collected from our athletes to be very helpful to our coaches, our administration and to myself as Athletic Director. The process is simple and it takes approximately 10 minutes for a group of athletes to complete. You have the flexibility of selecting the questions for your survey which allows you to target those areas you feel are most important. We share all results with our coaches and then use that information to adjust and improve. The surveys are very helpful in the evaluation process. This tool is well worth the investment.”
Craig Rothenberger, Athletic Director
Junction City High School, OR
“Athletic Surveys by LifeTrack makes it so easy to survey student-athletes. We have been able to collect a great deal of data in an extremely efficient manner, with a quick turnaround time for LifeTrack to provide results at every level of each sport in graphs and statistics. The feedback we received from the athletes confirmed many things we already thought, but also identified some of our “blind spots” and deficiencies, which helped us to take steps to make the necessary adjustments.”
Jason Buckley, Athletic Director
West Aurora High School, IL
“Doing this type of survey is easy and definitely beneficial for your program. It helps you with your coaching evaluations as well as it gives you a true pulse on how your athletes perceive your athletic program.”
“The biggest thing we got from the survey is that about 15% of our students say they have heard about or seen hazing activities. We have now instituted a stronger hazing policy and will be doing some educational programs around hazing for our coaches and athletes. We also need to educate our athletes on what hazing is so that we know we are talking about the same thing.”
James Parker, Director of Athletics
Alexandria City High School, VA
“Your surveys are doing wonders for me and my ability to obtain and share student feedback with the coaches!”
Craig McKinney, Director of Athletics
Marietta High School, GA
“LifeTrack’s athletic survey has given our athletic programs an inside look at what we as coaches/teachers try to emulate both philosophically and individually for not only the athletic department, but each individual TEAM. With the challenges of Title lX, budget, safety for student athletes, and the changing lifestyle of the new generation, these surveys give our coaches and programs an in-depth look at meeting our rubrics in teaching not only the technical and tactical fundamentals, but more importantly, life's choices, and ATTITUDE. With the constant transparency from school administrators and parents, this shows your department is trying to fulfil all guidelines and expectations. Mahalo.”
Kelly Sur, Athletic Director
Radford High School, HI
We absolutely loved the report. This was exactly what we were looking for in results. We have been able to identify areas that may have been overlooked, or perhaps we may have thought were small issues but in fact larger than assumed. I am excited to do it again at the end of the season when rugby is fresh on everyone's mind and to see if we made improvements. We actively have plans in place now to make slight alterations to our program based on these survey results, and our season doesn't kick off for two more months. I love we are getting in front of our issues rather than being reactive, which is hardly ever easy to fix once things are set in motion. Your survey and the way you gave us the results are one of the reasons we will have a great 2023 season. Thank you and we look forward to work with you again in April. Best Regards,
Tracy & Herriman Rugby
Thank you for the informational coaching survey results you provided Mt. Pleasant throughout each of our three seasons. I, along with my coaches, have gained great insight in regards to our job performance through the eyes of our athletes. The results were used to highlight what we are doing well as well as point out areas that need improvement. The goal is to continue to build upon the positive results and come up with a plan to improve upon the areas of concern going into the next school year.
Keith Neff, Athletic Director, Mount Pleasant High School, DE
I am very thankful for your patience and guidance as I developed our questions and plan - I can sometimes get caught up in what my father called “Paralysis by Analysis” so having someone as patient as you were was helpful while I worked through that.
Jason Thurston, Athletic Director, Juanita High School, WA
Your athletic survey makes my life easier!
Lacey London, Athletic Director, Holy Names Academy, WA
Thank you so much! These reports are very helpful for writing my coaching evaluations.
Toddette McGreevy, Athletic Director, Pomeroy High School, WA
Industry standards are in play and with the audits we are successful with the data presented. Professional and holds accountability for all of the working parts we are held to standards.
Dwayne Johnson, Athletic Director, Port Angeles High School, WA
The Texas High School Athletic Directors association has used Athletic Surveys from LifeTrack Services to conduct research on significant information that can be used to benefit athletic administrators and the job they do. LifeTrack Services was able to canvas, collect and process information that the THSADA could not do on their own and LifeTrack Services did it expediently and efficiently. The THSADA strongly endorses LifeTrack Services as their performance in assisting the THSADA was outstanding and made the process smooth and detailed.
Rusty Dowling, Executive Director, Texas High School Athletic Directors Association
Working with LifeTrack makes my job easier. I have less stress and more time because LifeTrack does the hard work of making the surveys which I administer. Then Life Track provides me results in both graph and statistical numbers. I trust LifeTrack and working with Larry has always out performed anything I could do with reports that need to go to the state. You won’t be sorry you used their service.
Shannon S. Wilson, Assistant Principal for Activities and Athletics, Clarkston High School, WA
Thank you for these survey results. Very helpful to be broken down like this.
Ryan Madden, Director of Athletics, Milton High School, MA
The Surveys worked well - thanks so much!
Jeff Feller, Athletic Director, St. Pius X High School, TX
I appreciate working with you on the Athletic Survey. I feel this provides coaches and the department a system to assist in the evaluation programs.

I’m writing to tell you how completely satisfied I am with your athletic surveys. Initially, I wasn’t sure what the difference would be switching from Survey Monkey to Athletic Surveys by LifeTrack, but it quickly became very clear thanks to: your relevant pool of questions, the organization and flow of your reports, and your engaging graphics. That said, your customer service has been the biggest benefit; your 24/7 availability has been invaluable! Athletic Surveys by LifeTrack is a definite asset to our Athletics Department here at Bellarmine College Prep and will help us take our athletics program to the next level.

Using Life Track’s sports surveys has allowed us to improve our overall program as well as focus on specific issues with which to work. These surveys allow us to work in a large scale and with individual coaches to ensure that we are working to improve student athletes’ performance in all areas.
Greg Liedle, Former Principal/AD, Jefferson High School, MT
I found LifeTrack to be very beneficial not only for my own understanding
of what goes on at the school level, but also to help me understand how
each student is feeling about their participation in a program as well as
know how to help our coaches improve in the areas of need.
Ben Tensay, Former District AD, Central Consolidated Schools, Shiprock, NM
LifeTrack services provided all four of our high schools with quality feedback for each sport. The feedback helped us as well as our coaches understand strengths and weaknesses within each program. The surveys also provided important insight on the perception of the culture within each program through the eyes of our athletes. Larry was fantastic to work with. With his help, we were able to customize the surveys to ensure we received the valuable information we were looking for.
Leslie Slovak, Executive Director of Athletics, Richardson ISD, TX
We were looking for a program to help organize, grade, and rate our athletic programs and coaches. Life Track has provided us with a detailed report on just that. We can take the information and make improvements in all of our sports to better serve or coaches and athletes. Very favorable experience. We will continue to use LifeTrack to grade and rate our programs. Thank you LifeTrack!
William Dickson, Former Athletic Director, Gadsden High School, NM
"Utilizing LifeTrack Services in my previous school of 10 years allowed me to gain valuable information regarding our athletic programs and gave me a tremendous evaluation tool that I could use to get an in-depth look into our student athlete experience. I love that you can customize the surveys to fit your seasonal needs and make it 'Real' to your athletes and parents. I am now implementing at Kearney High School."
Ryan Hogue, CAA, Assistant Principal/Activities Director, Kearney High School, NE
I have been satisfied with the surveys. On the initial return, the amount of information presented in the breakdown of the results was overwhelming, just because it is broken down a number of ways. I believe the surveys underscored what I already felt was present in our programs. I gave the surveys to our teams in the spring, and I had the coaches give the surveys in the winter. They were as anonymous as we could make it. The athletes were in the room, their names were not requested on the surveys, and once completed, the athletes put the surveys into an oversized envelope. Based on my observations and the winter coaches, there was some confusion in the a few of the questions where the athletes thought we were asking about something else than what was written, or did not read the survey and marked their responses wrong.
From what LifeTrack provided, the service was fantastic. We were given all of the help we needed in formulating the survey questions, and the turnaround time to get the surveys was very quick. LifeTrack sent reminders as we neared the end of the season as a reminder to complete the surveys and to return them to LifeTrack. We had our results electronically in under a week, and we had the printed report not long after that.
I said earlier that the results were pretty much along the lines of what I expected. From my conversations with parents throughout the seasons, I would have guessed that the athlete satisfaction survey would have been lower with some sports than they were, but then again, I think athletes are pretty realistic about their situation on a team. I think my coaches were a little nervous when I introduced the survey, and were still nervous after I told them what I was doing, but that they had to trust me. They survey results were used as I had my season ending evaluation meeting with the head coaches of the program. I used the results to reinforce the things that seemed to be going well, and used the other items as a point of maybe we could try something different. I think a couple of coaches were surprised, both good and bad, but again, it was used as a starting point for a conversation. The results were not used as the only measuring stick, but just a part of my evaluation process.
It will be interesting to see how the students respond to the fall surveys,, after being through this already. I like the results and I thought the service we received was terrific. I also think this may be an every other year item we use as a measuring stick for our progress but also to change the sample population a little.
If you have the resources to use Lifetrack, I think the results will help you gauge where your program is. As AD’s, we want to help our coaches be as good as they can be, we want our programs to be as good as possible, and Lifetrack is another tool to help us get there. Our tagline in our athletic department is #bebetter, and this process is a way for us to look at ourselves and see how we’re doing.
Tom Nerl, CMAA, Athletic Director, Mariemont High School, OH
“I have done athletic surveys for all levels of my student athletes the last three years. I gain valuable feedback, both positive and negative, to share with my coaches. I am certain, the feedback I receive has made my coaches more effective and successful in the future years.”
Brett O’Connor,Ed.D., Principal, Claremont High School, CA
We began using Lifetrack Services this year for an end-of-season survey for all of our high school sports. After finishing our fall sports this year, I would say that we will be using this service for a long time. The feedback we have received from our athletes and parents has been very valuable for us as we evaluate and make decisions on how to improve moving forward. We have used the surveys to evaluate our programs and to have great conversations with our head coaches, helping them and their programs grow in the right direction.
Shawn Pratt, Asst. Superintendent of Athletics, McKinney ISD, TX
Implementing LifeTrack's athletic survey at the end of each season is an excellent tool to gather feedback about student’s experience in your athletic program. How often in education do we hear, “what does the data say”? LifeTrack enables Athletic Administrators to customize their survey questions to focus on the needs of your District. The data collected helps guide the Athletic Director on what is working and what isn’t working. Athletic Directors often hear only the negative comments about our program from those who are upset. We rarely hear anything positive! One of the values of the survey is that it allows students who have had a positive experience to have a voice. It is refreshing to see the data is often more positive than we anticipate. If changes do need to be made, it’s nice to have data to support your decisions.
The staff at Lifetouch helps guide you through the entire process and provide you with a detailed report at the conclusion of the survey. Their customer service is outstanding and I high recommend all Athletic Adminstrators to try this product.
Dave Goddard, Former Athletic Director, Arlington Central School District, NY
Like many schools we have struggled with declining participation in athletic programs. This year we started the end of season Athletic Surveys from LifeTrack Services seeking to gain insight on how our student athletes viewed their season. The fall season data gave us a good starting point to review and identify potential areas to improve our programs. We are excited to get data from winter and spring seasons this year and more excited about seeing if the work we do to improve our programs has an impact on the survey results next year.
Robert Mackey, Retired Superintendent, Unadilla Valley Schools, NY
We use the info to take a look at how our athletes are seeing our programs, facilities and coaching staffs. It is not something I would do every year, but every few years is important as we keep our finger on the pulse of our programs.
Darren Howard, Athletic Director, Oswego High School, IL
We (Boulder Valley School District) see the value in multiple ways to gathering end-of-season data from athletes and parents. It builds trust with families, gives students a voice, provides feedback, some of which would otherwise be avoided in busy schedules, and helps set growth areas. I recommend Athletic Surveys by LifeTrack to any school interested in such data. They have adapted to our needs and take a cumbersome burden off our task list.
Michele Deberry, Former District Athletic Director
Boulder Valley School District, CO
We are a school of 1300 students and we piloted the use of LifeTrack Services last spring to have our athletes evaluate our athletic programs in all aspects: coaches and coaching, trainers, facilities and AD. Larry was excellent in providing a quality bank of questions for us to consider and was also very receptive to adding questions, or making any changes that we requested. He was timely and professional in all his communications. By asking teams to give me 15-minutes of time before the end of their season and sitting down with them in a computer lab, or with their computers or phones, I had an 80+% return on the surveys, and that’s all it took, 15-minutes. Larry then provided me with data for each question on the survey broken out by the specific team e.i. varsity, JV or JVB; by the program e.g. boy’s lacrosse or softball; and finally for the entire athletic program. I was then able to share this information with all my coaches in electronic format. This was an extremely valuable tool that was user friendly and was positively received by all. I have already signed up to use LifeTrack Services for all three seasons this year. I highly recommend it.
Dan Shepardson, Former Activities Director, Champlain Valley Union HS, VT
This survey was very important to us as a school district. It provided us an innovative way to receive feedback from our student-athletes. Furthermore, it can be a useful tool to say, "How are we doing as an athletics department?" "How are certain programs performing?" As well as, an effective tool for indicating concerns or problems that will need to be addressed in order to further enhance the culture of our student-athletes and schools."
Steve Keasler, Former Director of Athletics, Midlothian ISD, TX
"As a regular part of the seasonal and yearly evaluation of our athletic department, Juan Diego has been doing end-of-season athlete surveys for over a decade. We started with a company that used paper surveys which were cumbersome and expensive. We then went to an on-line provider that did not give us the flexibility and detail we wanted. Fortunately we discovered Life Track Services. Life Tack is an easy to use on-line service that allowed us to develop our own survey questions, provides us with a useful detailed analysis of the answers and is very affordable. I highly recommend this service."
Chris Long, Retired Athletic Director, Juan Diego Catholic High School, UT
Great service with the quick turnaround on results. I appreciate it all of the break downs in the subsequent emails. Now, I have a lot of studying to do.
Greg Leeth, Athletic Director, Lincolnview High School, OH
Clovis High School administered surveys to our student athletes concerning athletic participation utilizing LifeTrack Services during the 2018-19 school year and we were absolutely satisfied with the results. We were able to ask questions that were relevant to our program, the online survey process was easy for our athletes to complete, and the information we received was invaluable as it helped us gage student-athlete perspectives concerning sports participation.
LifeTrack virtually takes care of everything – the results are calculated, published, and are very precise and professional in appearance. Our coaches found the data valuable and based on what we learned from our student-athletes we now know what is working and what needs to be improved in our athletic programs.
Lonnie Baca, Director of Athletics, Clovis Municipal Schools, NM
I love this and can't wait to share it with my coaches. Thank you for providing this information to my coaches.
Dan Bettin, Former Principal/AD, RTR High School, MN
The report is good. The survey itself was easy to push out and the results were very easy to read. I will definitely share this with my fellow AD's.
Chris Bell, Athletic Director, Newton High School, IN
Everything is good. The coaches found the info useful and pretty much aligned with how they felt the season went.
Brad Katz, Former Athletic Director, Westlake High School, CA
I love your product and the value it adds to programming.
