Athletic surveys can be administered online or paper-based. Either way, your results are tabulated, and your compilation reports are returned promptly.

SELECT QUESTIONS FOR YOUR SPORTS SURVEY

The heart of your sports survey contains 20 customized questions that you select to address the needs or concerns within your program. We offer a bank of questions to select from as a guide. Use the questions as written, re-word them to better address your priorities, or create your own questions to focus on any unique concerns. We build a survey proof or test link for you to review and offer suggestions to enhance your athletic survey. Edits will be made until you are 100% satisfied and approve the survey.

ADMINISTER YOUR ATHLETIC SURVEY

Typically the athletic director administers the survey with athletes. Most schools administer their sports survey during the last week or two of the regular season. This keeps the emotions of the playoffs out of the survey! Since all sports do not end on the same day, schools can schedule to have athletes from each sport complete at different times, making the task more manageable. We strongly recommend you administer your athletic survey in a controlled setting. Team meetings in a computer lab or setting aside part of practice so entire teams can complete as a group works well. Once all athletes have completed the sports survey, notify LifeTrack to close your survey or return your paper surveys to LifeTrack.

USER-FRIENDLY, COMPREHENSIVE REPORTING

Data is compiled and reported at the end of each sport's season (Fall, Winter, & Spring). A comprehensive, user-friendly report is emailed to the athletic director as an electronic document (pdf). Printed and bound reporting options are available to purchase as well. The first section or chapter of your report shows overall response from all athletes combined (all sports, all team levels). Individual sport reports are also provided showing overall response for each sport as well as how each team level responded. You can easily identify any disconnects between team levels. Share your sport survey reports with coaches and share the overall reports with your administration and/or school board. Some publish their report to the school or athletic website! Use this data to document the many good aspects of your programs, justify existing programs, set improvement goals, and/or recognize areas you are excelling. The opportunities are endless!
